Requiem

Requiem has been down for a substantial amount of time, and in the interest of everyone who may have been patiently waiting I can say that we are not expecting it to return.

There are numerous reasons behind this, but no matter what they may be our time as a UO server has finished. We have a good community here and we expect to maintain that for the foreseeable future, but our time will be spent with different shards and different games. People are, as always, welcome to come and go as they please, and we'll be happy for their company both here on the forums and in the IRC room.

There are too many people to thank for this experience, but all players and staff both past and present deserve our gratitude. There are two who deserve recognition in name: Daggoth, for selflessly devoting his server to hosting Requiem over the years, and Sicarius, the wellspring without whom none of this would have happened in the first place. Shine on you crazy diamonds.

And for the rest of you, go where you will, do as you must, return and visit if you please. Requiem may be gone, but its spirit will always live on here.
